Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until the present. Her previous role as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira that goes through a series of personal struggles with the backdrop of U.S. military conflict in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's film Towelhead. In 2007, she was picked by Variety as one of 10 actors they wanted to see. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she portrayed the powerful character Taslima Jhangir she was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the most outstanding female lead. She also acted as co-lead in films such as the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of television guest parts.
